Bringing over 15 years of experience in the new-media, data communications and service provider industries, Jay Stark currently serves as president and chief operating officer of Plaino LLC where he oversees all marketing, business development, strategic initiatives, and operational duties of the company. Plaino, through its brand of Wimpy players, is the leading provider of privately labeled, web-embedded media players for enterprise, recording artists and new media companies worldwide.

Prior to Plaino, Jay co-founded Broadstream Communications, Inc., where he served as Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing and was responsible for all sales, marketing, product development, and customer care activity for the company. Broadstream Communications became the telecommunications industry’s first virtual IPTV headend system allowing smaller Telco and data-communication providers to enter the digital video market using Internet Protocol delivery instead of traditional cable networks. Broadstream secured the IPTV industry’s largest library of live linear video content and included such companies as NBC-Universal, ABC/Disney, ESPN, Turner Network Sales, Starz/Encore, Fox Cable Networks, Showtime Networks.

Before co-foundeding Broadstream, Jay was a strategic advisor to Fisher Pathways, Inc., a division of regional broadcasting company Fisher Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSCI).
